Flower Bar is the only florist in Atlanta that offers flower designing events!  Hosting a flower arranging party, is a fun way for you and your guests to get creative together. A Flower Bar designer comes to your location with all the fresh flowers and supplies needed for a fun educational flower designing experience. Custom packages are also available. **Minimum 5 participants required, plus $25/hr designer fee.

Cost for Complete Supplies Packages:

Novelty- $15/person
When it's more about the activity and fun, than the actual outcome of the participants’ arrangements.
Hidden Talent- $20/person
A colorful mix of seasonal flowers are used. Participants learn tips and techniques that help them make their own little masterpieces.

The Martha- $30/person
For the higher-brow craftster. Fancy flowers and artifacts are used in designs. Participants get all the tools and attention they need to make professional looking arrangements.

The Apprentice- $45/person
Participants get to choose from a variety of our highest quality supplies. Each participant makes two pieces as the designer guides them through their own creative experience.

Pumpkin Bouquets!

It's Fall again (finally) YAY!  And one of my favorite things about Fall is pumpkins!

For the last several years we've been combining pumpkins and flowers for Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations, and once again this year, you have a chance to make your own pumpkin bouquets!

We are firming up our dates and locations, but our flower workshops are tons of fun! 

Flower Bar supplies everything you need to create these pretty fall arrangements.  You pick out your pumpkin and which flowers you want to use.  We set you up and show you how to do everything.

Rhodes Hall Wedding with Garden Roses

One of my favorite things about being a florist in Atlanta is the camaraderie I have with other florists.  You would think we would have a competitive nature towards each other, but really I find my colleagues very supportive of me, and I of them.  This is a wonderful thing because we have each other to call on for help if needed.

Flower Bar collaborates mostly with two specific floral designers, Andy Rhodes of Organic Art and Cathy Brim of Bloom Floral Design.  Below are a few photos of a wedding I did for Cathy.  She consulted with the bride on design and ordered the flowers.  I put them together.  I love her idea of the moss lined glass containers we used for the 36" tables!

And the final product.  These sweet pave styled centerpieces included a variety of pale pink rose, pink garden

rose, white and green mini cymbidium, kermit poms, hypericum berry and hot pink spray rose.

Four Season's Bridal Shower

This weekend we had the pleasure of creating table centerpieces for Taryn's wedding shower at Park 75 Restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel.  Her pretty arrangements included yellow roses, queen anne's lace, purple lisianthus and snowberry.  The larger arrangement was for an oval table seating 8 and the smaller ones were for four- top tables.

Below are some photos of the arrangements we did for a very special birthday party.  The call was for all red flowers to compliment the contemporary red, black and white decor.

Here we used beautiful red ginger, with freedom roses and gladiolus for the dining and bar areas.

Amanda and Andrew Wedding

Look at our gorgeous bride Amanda! This is one of the prettiest pictures we've seen. Amanda had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Carter Center. Her bridesmaids wore teal blue and carried flowers in shades of pink.

Amanda was a joy to work with...we really loved creating a look just for her.  Her kind words are worth posting as well!

Indian Wedding Reception at Cafe Bombay

Thanks to Cathy at Bloom Floral Design, we had the pleasure of doing flowers for Sharda and Vic's wedding reception at Cafe Bombay.  The setting is so colorful, they only needed a few simple bud vases along the tables to add a fresh touch.

Marigolds, calendula, dahlia, standard white mums, mint and safflower were the selected flowers....all varieties that should last throughout the week.  A benefit of using a collection of small bud vases instead of larger centerpieces, is that more of your guests get to take home something pretty from your special day!

Here are a few photos from their event.  Imagine the delicious aromas of Cafe Bombay's Indian food in the air....makes me want to host my own event there soon!
