DIY Design Workshops- Corporate Events

For the last 11 years we've had the pleasure to host DIY flower design workshops for many groups both large and small. They are great fun, and a perfect event for all kinds of occasions.

Recently, we hosted an event for a design material supplier at one of their accounts' office.  It was such a hit we were asked to come back for another account, and a few other suppliers joined in on the fun.  Here are a few photos from the events.










Okay, so my phone doesn't take the best photos, but you get the gist! Everyone always has a lot of fun, and they get to take their masterpieces home.  Thank you to Patcraft, Koroseal, National Office Furniture and TVS Design, for having us!!

Ambassador Day for CHOA Children

I have a dear friend Patty "Sunshine" who has been hosting an amazingly wonderful event for 17 years-- on her own birthday!  She gives up her big day to brighten the day of many terminally ill children from hospitals around the city, at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and St. Jude.

Each year, in collaboration with Hard Rock Café Atlanta, they buss and ambulance in these precious children for an afternoon of food, entertainment, music and gifts.  Prominent local musicians show up to entertain the children and their families, and this year included Ms. Francine Reed, Mike Veal and Michelle Malone, among others.  Clowns and superheroes also join in on the fun. We donate the flowers.

This is our fifth year participating.  We create flower arrangements for the tables that some of the children can take back to their hospital rooms.  Some are not able to have fresh flowers in their rooms, but they can at least enjoy them at the event. Others are given to the family members, and whatever is left over goes to the hospital chapel.  Here are some examples of what we sent this year.





I loved these adorable little fishies!  As I finished each one I blessed it, hoping it would bring blessings and healing to 30 very deserving children and family members.
