Pumpkin Bouquets!

It's Fall again (finally) YAY!  And one of my favorite things about Fall is pumpkins!

For the last several years we've been combining pumpkins and flowers for Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations, and once again this year, you have a chance to make your own pumpkin bouquets!

We are firming up our dates and locations, but our flower workshops are tons of fun! 

Flower Bar supplies everything you need to create these pretty fall arrangements.  You pick out your pumpkin and which flowers you want to use.  We set you up and show you how to do everything.

Host Your Own Flower Design Party- You can also host your own flower workshop at your home or office.  We've had workshops for offices, bridal showers, birthday parties, and holiday parties.  Everyone gets to make their own masterpieces, and you only need a minimum of six people to host a workshop event.  Call 404-641-0590 for more information!

Floral Design Workshops

Hosting a flower arranging party, is a fun way for you and your guests to get creative together. Our workshops are perfect for small social events of 10-20 people. A Flower Bar designer comes to your location with all the fresh flowers and supplies needed for a fun and educational flower designing experience. Workshops generally last two hours. Custom packages are also available. All participants get to keep their creations! Call 404-431-0811 to book your party’s floral design workshop.

Cost: $50/hr designer fee, plus your choice of Participant Supply Package below.

Participant Packages:

Novelty- $15 ea
When it's more about the activity and fun, than the actual outcome of the participants’ arrangements.

Hidden Talent- $25 ea
A colorful mix of seasonal flowers are used. Participants learn tips and techniques that help them make their own little masterpieces.

The Martha- $45 ea
For the higher-brow craftster. Fancy flowers and artifacts are used in designs. Participants get all the tools and attention they need to make professional looking arrangements.

The Apprentice- $65 ea
Participants get to choose from a variety of our highest quality supplies. Each participant makes two pieces as the designer guides them through their own creative experience.

We're Growing Like a Weed!

I am so thrilled to announce we've grown...Again! Last week our new production space was completed. The new space is in the building just behind our shop at Irwin Street Market, and it's where we'll create the magic for our larger events, and holiday volume.

We also just purchased a fabulous van (in great condition!) from another florist whom I admire very much! Chuck Henry is a idol in my eyes, his talent is vast and his work has adorned the main entrance of the Southeastern Flower Show the last two years. After taking a director position at the SEFS, Chuck doesn't need the van as much, and I'm happy to adopt it....mojo and all!

Kid's Flower Basket Workshop

Today Flower Bar hosted a flower basket workshop with several children on Spring Break. The kids were part of a program a wonderful woman named Ms. Aida's directs. She owns and operates Grass Roots Institute, a non-profit for children in the area. Ms. Aida and her huge loyal following, volunteer their time to help teach these children life skills through arts and culture.
